Dental Health

Aside from a regular cleaning like we do for ourselves… if your pet’s breath is unbearable, they’ve been having trouble eating, or you’ve noticed a chip in a tooth—a dental cleaning is going to help!

Dental cleanings are performed under general anesthesia. Once we clean their teeth it’s easier to see what may be hiding underneath the build up of plaque and calculus and if any extractions are needed.

Brushing your pet’s teeth once a day, with the appropriate pet toothpaste, is the gold standard

Although this will not replace the need for a professional cleaning, it may help prolong the time between cleanings.
